You and me we're both the same. Given a chance you'd wanna be free. Aside from food and sleep, I know we can find time to teach the old ways to the young, And keep our story. The sand feels like we're walking on balloons. The air is stairs, our eyes are bright. You said I still feel queasy after you woke me up, As our fire begins to roar, "I cannot help this feeling, I've seen this all before, but something's different." "Tell me that you came for me! Cuz I've been waiting for you. Tell me you can hear what I'm saying. Cuz it's a long walk back to town, And I'm a far cry from the old me" I recall your sense of urgency, When you heard of this place. You knew neither crevice nor hole could conceal you like you'd planned. And you can paint your face here, any color you'd like. Cuz there's a divide between this world I found, and the weariness of our old one. "Tell me that you came for me! Cuz I've been waiting for you. Tell me you can hear what I'm saying. Cuz it's a long walk back to town, And I'm a far cry from the old me" (2x) "Tell me that you long for me, That you share all of my troubles. You get all the voices in my head are yelling! And my friends can't hear a thing, and I'm a far cry from the old me." Your secret's safe with me.

Penny 03:20
You took my penny and you dropped it down the well. You thought it was your luck but you it let you down again. And I blame you. I blame you. You took my hand and you lead me off a cliff. I thought that i could trust, but you let me down again. And I blame you. I blame you. Love please stay just for a minute I know there's something that you didn't notice I know you can't stay just for a minute Cuz you're not that type. You took my penny and you dropped it down the well. You thought it was your luck but you it let you down again. And I blame you. I blame you. Love please stay just for a minute I know there's something that you didn't notice I know you can't stay just for a minute Cuz you're not that type. You said time and time again that I'd make you run away But I want you, I need you. Love please stay just for a minute I know there's something that you didn't notice I know you can't stay just for a minute Cuz you're not that type. (2X)

The Hill 03:45
I was sitting in the grass Crosslegged When my leg it melted off. It sank into the dirt, But that's okay, cuz I did not need it anyway. Whoever wants can it eat it for a tasty snack! I think I ate pretty healthily before the time that i died. And whoever wants can tell us that we can't come back. But we will time and time again, to this hill. I took the clouds for granted That they'd always be above. A quilt below the heavens, An ivory oven glove. I never missed the trees And the folks that live in there I never knew this hill could be the a monster ride that we'd share. A monster who'd I'd like to know A friend to ride on home He could tell us not to be afraid Cuz we just would waste our time. And whoever wants can tell us that we can't come back! And whoever wants can tell us that we can't do that, But we will. I took the clouds for granted That they'd always be above. A quilt below the heavens, An ivory oven glove. I never missed the trees And the folks that live in there I never knew this hill could be the a monster ride that we'd share.

Proceed with caution Your token of affection Cuz there could be a hidden, minefield Danger in the snow! Danger in the snow! Necessary steps. Investigate your route. Proceed with caution, Your token of affection. Danger in the snow! Danger in the snow! Mold your soul into a ball. Squeeze it in your fist into the lines inset by years. Protect it like a gem Cuz sometimes it can't listen out, Cuz someone will take it home, with them. Once i knew someone who I thought to be true. I knew my foolish heart was handed over, Just out of my reach. Danger! I had thought, But as an ant in a bakery, I could not get enough. But to my surprise, Behind her big eyes, was a thief. A loving heart, not fit to love. How could I have known, That there was danger in the snow? Mold your soul into a ball. Squeeze it in your fist into the lines inset by years. Protect it like a gem Cuz sometimes it can't listen out, Cuz someone will take it home, with them.

Let Me In 03:39
Just to want it, And not to need it, Makes me let it go. But then you let me in, And I don't want it. But you made me believe it. So do I really? Do I really? If you could you keep it together For a moment in time? Then you'd see that I can't be, Your excuse for a lover. A steep mountain to climb. You would see. I left my shoes under your bed but I left my body outside. How could I get back into this mess? I kept telling myself the temptations would do me in. If you could you keep it together For a moment in time? Then you'd see that I can't be, Your excuse for a lover, A steep mountain to climb. You would see. And I think I see this happening again From my lonely point of view See every time that I'm with you I think this will happen again.

I took a bite out of your shoulder I took my own little piece of your pie And you're so good at sharing yourself You let it just pass by. We clamored out through the underbrush, Into the sunbath "We could fry!" you said. So lay down in the leaves, and pretend not to be A real person. Just a creeper, a creature. All we need to do is figure out if there's something, Like a map or a compass. All we need to do is see a log or a ladder, Just something we can build from! "So it seems," you said as the first drop fell on your nose. "That I'm always the one to carry all the weight, I always fetch the water. So when is it your turn when do something for me?" "Well I'll tell you I'm sorry, I need somewhere to start, I care, I do, so let's get up, get up!" All we need to do is figure out if there's something, Like a map or a compass. All we need to do is see a log or a ladder, Just something we can build from! So we went out at night in the rain, And it felt so good. With witch-like cries we heard the animals on their side. "I'll protect you I said I've got my knife and my wits. But this time, this time I can't stop the creatures, the creepers, the creatures!" All we need to do is figure out if there's something, Like a map or a compass. All we need to do is see a log or a ladder, Just something we can build from!

Yeah I was sitting in the back Smell of cigarettes and air in the summer. Yeah you were yelling at the sky, Hair blowing back; I think this is freedom. Thank you for a reason to stay, stay I could have gone home with regrets. But that's just how it is. Thank you for an obvious sign. That you'd go to these great lengths, While I'm behind you. yeah I was sitting in the back Pretending not to listen to your conversation. yeah you were trying not to cry Telling him the reasons that you had to leave him. Thank you for a reason to stay, stay I could have gone home with regrets. But that's just how it is Thank you for an obvious sign. That you'd go to these great lengths, While I'm behind you.

This One 03:29
From the highest peaks To the valleys below From my happiest To the depths of my soul I let loose a stone And watched it fall down No matter where it lands But only where I am This one's for money This one's for love This one's for taking everything that I've dreamed of This one's for greed Another for affection How can I live without natural selection? Let us fade away and make time for another day. Yeah we crossed the lake Hoping to see something and you told me last year, that the fish were here. Now look at my embarrassment! I led us into a trap. I put us right on a mirror, and we can't get out. This one's for money This one's for love This one's for taking everything that I've dreamed of This one's for greed Another for affection How can I live without natural selection? Let us fade away and make time for another day.

Hologram 06:02
He watched her walk by everyday From his eighteenth floor apartment. And while it's been so long since he'd held a hand That he forgot just what it felt like To feel his bones burning inside. Loneliness is only love's hologram. It hangs above your head just like a star. But when you know its burning out, You give it one last nod and then it's gone. Then it's gone. Little did he know, That she lived just one floor below him. And when she crept inside his head, Took control of each scenario, He could busy himself with tasks to keep him sane. Loneliness is only love's hologram. It hangs above your head just like a star. But when you know it's burning out, You give it one last nod and then it's gone. But the time we spend in solitary infatuation Aren't wasted by the people we want to love They're just absorbed into the air And saved until the moment you're dreaming of. You're dreaming of. And then he saw her in the stairs She was as real as real gets. And then she said her name, And he said nice to meet you She said I feel the same We all feel the same.
